It feels as though I've become nothing.

It was mentioned last night that I never post here anymore, and that i should. I guess its true, I just never feel like I have anything to say anymore.

Now I think I may have to leave everything in order to find whatever is left of myself.

and I'm scared.

Really really scared.

I'm not really scared of distancing from the psy scene... it feels rather dead. But having to distance myself from someone I love more than anyone is fucking frightening to me.

Maybe I'm missing the part of my brain that lets me see the big picture or something, because I've always had problems thinking of the future. Maybe deep down I really really believe that the world is going to end in 5 years and nothing really matters.
Maybe I was an evil fuck in previous lives and I'm punishing myself for it now. Who the hell knows.

Too bad I'm not suicidal and completely selfish, otherwise this mess would be a piece of cake to get out of. Oh well.. I always seem to end up on the tough path.

I guess I'll be stronger for it in the future. Its just too bad I'm so damn bad at seeing it.

Band is looking for any visual artist, or someone with basic editing knowledge who might be interested in helping put together visuals for our live rock shows.

We want to have visuals made that will synchronize to each song. And that the visuals would have a mood and timing that will work in harmony with the songs. We are looking to have the visuals complement the music. The music would play as a background to the visuals.

We want to use a digital projector to have the visuals shoot onto a large back drop at the shows. The laptop should do as the main source. It will plug into the projector.

Just to give a brief description of our part, We will be playing the entire music show off a lab top ourselves for the audio.
Using the lab top, We will be playing the show using sequences. The sequences meaning that the whole show will be fixed to specific tempos/time codes. throughout the 45min set. We are looking to have the visuals run like a movie through out the 45 min set. The visuals will run in time with the music. We would like the visuals to change in time with the music.

Its like we are performing a music score to compliment the visuals or vice versa.

Our inspiration comes from bands like Pink Floyd, NIN and Doves etc......

We have recorded songs that we are ready to get started on.

At 10:22pm, May 14th, 2007, I am officially a quarter of a century old. You may all shower me with shiny gifts and cash now.

I keep freakin forgetting about my birthday until like 3 days before it. Even my grandma forgot about it until I mentioned it to her today. Oh well, its just a birthday.

This weekend was spent being very chill and pumped full of ATHF with Dennis and Jess. I really like how level headed both of those kids have gotten, what with all the working, art and not doing drugs that theyve been up to.

I was plagued with sleep paralisys last night though. I kept having to imagine myself curling up into a ball, growing a ball of energy, and then lunging with all my might out of bed. I finally managed to actually escape the big black cloud after about 10 attempts.

Its wierd, sleep paralisys used to freak the hell out of me, now it just frustrates me. It takes me forever to get tired and actually ready for sleep, and when I finally do, this big black cloud demon thing comes along and decides it wants to feed on my nerve impulses. Black clouds are bastards sometimes.

Other than that, things are good.

It may just be a police helicopter or something, but whatever it is its got two glittery lights on it and its bobbling around in the sky over south van right now, giving off interesting little tracers. If you've got a pair of binoculars and a good view from your place, go take a look and see if you can see it... maybe I'm just tripping, but for some reason I don't think a helicopter moves around like that.

So I finally found the print machine at work thats set up to print .TIF's off of. Driven by blue n white G3 running OS9. At first i was like 'damn I forgot how cool OS9 was' yunno, coz of how direct and simple the interface is... then it crashed during a print job and fucked it up, and I remembered that when OS9 crashes, it crashes. No process killing, just a bomb. But that aside, I can now print 21x28 inch glossy prints at 300dpi, with ultra vivid colors.

Anyone have any high rez fractals they want printed? :D
